Who qualifies?
- For 5 years Card, must be registered on a construction qualification (NVQ/SVQ, academic or professional), valid for Skilled Worker Card.
- For 2 years Card, an approved Level 2 or higher qualification. Upon expiry, a three-year Trainee Card can be issued if the applicant is registered on a relevant NVQ/SVQ or alternative qualification. Registration must be verified before renewal.

- NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Bricklaying (Construction)
- City and Guilds T Level Qualification in On-site Construction

- IMI Level 2 Diploma in Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance (Construction)
- City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma In Site Carpentry
- City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma In Site Carpentry
- NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Site Carpentry (Construction)
- City & Guilds Level 2 Extended Diploma In Site Carpentry

How to renew CSCS Red Trainee Card?
The 2 years card is renewable, only if the applicant is registered on a relevant NVQ/SVQ or alternative qualification.
The 5 years card is non-renewable. After completing the registered qualification, the delegate will be eligible for the CSCS Skilled Worker Card.
Do you need a physical copy of your current CSCS Red Trainee Card?
In case you have lost your CSCS Card, or it's broken or stolen, then you can order a replacement for your CSCS Card.
