One Day Online Course for Green Labourer Card

The One Day Online Course for CSCS Green Labourer Card is focused on delegates who are working in the construction industry. This course provides candidates with an understanding and practical summary on the health, safety and wellbeing of the construction workers.

To acquire a CSCS Green Labourer Card, you’ve to complete 1 Day Online Course, in addition to passing the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test for Operatives

This course is available online. You’ll be needing a computer/laptop with a stable internet connection (Download Speed: Broadband (3Mb+)). There is no time limitation for this course, as it can be done in a day or weeks. After completing the course, you’ll be required to qualify the final assessment to get the certificate. The Certification of this course is valid for lifetime.

  • Who is it for?
    One Day Online Course is for everyone working on a construction site who wants to apply for a CSCS Green Labourer Card.
    • You will receive certification that you have successfully completed the Level 1 Award in Health and safety in a construction environment, which can be used to support your application for a CSCS labourer card.
    • Certification is valid for lifetime.

    • Our online construction course training is provided through video with short progress exams. A full preparation exam is included with the training, ensuring you will be ready to complete the online assessment to gain your qualification. 
    • The course and test can be completed in one go or over a period of days or weeks.
    • Return to the course as many times as you like, it will remember and track your progress.
    • If the student is successful, the RQF course e-certificate is then issued by email.

  • This is an online training course using any internet connected device that is taken via our online learning platform. You can access this course from anywhere in the UK. The multi choice online assessment must be undertaken on a PC or Laptop with web cam and microphone with a reliable internet connection. The computer must run on windows or mac computer (it will not work on mobiles, tablets or Chrome Books).

    • Unrestricted access to the One Day Online Course.
    • The end of course online final test (using your own equipment) which will be recorded and validated.
    • The Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment course e-certificate is then issued by email.
    • Can I get a refund if I realise this isn’t the right course for me? As soon as you enrol with the course, the fee is non-refundable.
    • Do I have access to the equipment that I need? This is an online training course using any internet connected device that is taken via our online learning platform. You can access this course from anywhere in the UK. 

    Please be aware that the exam is a live exam but can be taken at any time the candidate chooses.

    Memory: 1Gb+ RAM

    Download Speed: Broadband (3Mb+). You need a steady internet connection (Wi-Fi or hard wired connection will be required for streaming) with a recommended upload speed of 5mb/sec and a minimum speed of 1.5mb/sec.


    Exam Rules

    No external devices can be used, this includes mobiles, tablets, tv, radios or other electronic devices.

    No other tabs open on the computer

    No one else in the room at the time of the exam

    No written notes

    No Eating, Drinking (other than water) or Smoking.

    When you are asked to provide your ID please show the front and back of the ID where possible.

    No other person in the room at any time. (If you need someone to help you set up the exam they must leave the room before clicking the share button when requested)

    No talking or reading questions out loud to yourself or voices in the background.

    Your entire face must be in clear view of the camera at all times, you cannot leave the camera at any point.

    No headphones (if your microphone is part of your headphones please take them off and leave them on your desk)

    All other software and browser tabs must also be closed. (you cannot use a language translator).

    When web cam and screen share access is requested, then you must accept it. (this may also need to be enabled within your operating systems settings or browser settings first)


    • Can I get support for additional needs, such as dyslexia? Get in touch and we’ll tell you more about the support available.
    • No, there are two stages to getting a CSCS green card, you need to complete the relevant training and we offer One Day Online Course.
    • The other part is the CITB Health Safety and Environment Test for Operatives.
    • Once both parts are completed, contact us to order the green card.
    • One Day Online Course does not include either the CITB HS&E test or the green card application.

    Your CSCS green card expires after 5 years. You must take the Test again only if it gets expired. The validity of Course and Test are 5 years and 2 years respectively.
